When you first visit our practice, you can expect a warm welcome and a relaxed environment ahead of your eye examination. We then allocate between 30 and 40 minutes to complete your eye examination and find out all about your lifestyle and medical history.

You will be asked about your general health and any medication you may be taking. We look closely at your eye care history and how well you are getting on with your current eyewear. You will also be asked about your lifestyle, including your occupation and any sports that you participate in. This helps our optometrist to tailor your eye examination to suit you.

Childrens Eye Care

As your children’s eyes develop they need regular care. It’s vital that they attend eye examinations with an experienced optometrist every 12 months throughout their school life, simply because they won’t be able to tell you that they have an eye condition.
