Our modern and cosy Aylesbury practice was founded in 1992 by managing director and optometrist Nat Vaja. Using his strong optical training and experience of eye care in the Aylesbury area, he decided to open Nu-Sight Opticians and provide a high quality eye care service to the community.
Nat started his career as a dispensing optician, completing a full-time dispensing course in Glasgow. He quickly became interested in optics and applied to study ophthalmics at the same university.
Upon completion of the course, Nat worked as an optician in Scotland before moving to Cambridgeshire to create a successful partnership with four practices. He then moved to Aylesbury, where he worked as a locum for a number of local independent opticians. While working as a locum, Nat identified areas of concern and quickly realised that the eye care service was not as good as it could be.
With a passion for eye care and service, Nat quickly looked for premises in the Aylesbury area and started Nu-Sight Opticians, providing high standards of eye care tailored to suit each individual.
Our friendly practice team is always on hand to answer any questions you may have about your eye health and you will benefit from seeing the same faces each time you visit our cosy practice. We do everything we can to ensure you feel relaxed ahead of your eye examination.
We are constantly looking for better quality products and suppliers to ensure that you receive the best possible service. We aren’t affiliated with any one supplier, so we can source the right product for you.
Your eye care service will be on a one-to-one basis, so you know that you will be seen by the same eye care professional each time you visit us.
Nat is also a founder member of Vision Aid Overseas. Along with a small group of opticians, Nat visited Tanzania to provide much needed eye care. On his return, the group decided to start Vision Aid Overseas, holding fund raising events and annual glasses collections.
Booking your eye examination with us is simple. Call us on 01296 398 941 and speak to a member of the team, or you can email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you to arrange your appointment.
